I usually refrain from this type of posting, however, I have to say
attempting to get this thing working properly has become a huge exercise in
frustration.

I'm very comfortable tweaking my machine, but this is absolutely obscene. I
thought I had done my homework, researching the DVC 90, nice USB interface,
very slick editing software; but it locks up the PC after 30 secs of
capture. Sat here for a week attempting all suggested fixs....still no joy.
What a piece of crap

I will not remotely consider a Pinnacle product in the future; I was
considering putting it up on Ebay to recoup some of the funds....but I can't
knowingly do that to someone else.

$ 80.00 bucks, right down the drain.

I, too, had a frustrating time with Pinnacle editing software. each
crash generated a pop-up box inviting me to send the details of the
crash to them, but I never had any response to the 20 or so that I sent.
Like you, I was intending to put it on Ebay, but after downloading
several updates and patches (with considerable scepticism!), suddenly
all is working OK. I have now edited a couple of videos lasting over 40
minutes in the original, and not a crash experienced!
Probably the kiss of death to my programme, but perhaps worth a last
gasp try.
Good luck!
Jeff
